These include our Lifetime Diamond Commitment, available on any purchase of covered diamond jewellery, and our in-store services. (These services may not be available at all stores and prices and service time may vary. Check your local Peoples store for details.)
Peoples Lifetime Diamond Commitment Since Peoples is The Diamond Store, our commitment to our diamond customers is second to none. Peoples wants to ensure that you'll enjoy the full beauty and brilliance of your diamond for a lifetime. With your diamond purchase of $200 or more, Peoples presents its Lifetime Diamond Commitment.
Our Commitment to You If your diamond is chipped, broken or lost from its original setting, Peoples will replace the diamond at no charge to you.
Lifetime Cleaning and Inspection You may have your Peoples diamond cleaned and inspected as many times as you want, free of charge, for as long as you own it. To maintain your Lifetime Diamond Commitment limited warranty, you need only bring your diamond to Peoples every six months for cleaning and inspection, along with your record-keeping card. (For example, if you buy your diamond in January, bring it in every July and January. If you bought it in February, bring it in every August and February, etc.) When you bring your diamond to Peoples for your semiannual inspections, a Peoples' sales associate will verify the inspections on your record-keeping card.
Lifetime Guaranteed Trade-In Value on Bridal Sets and Diamond Solitaires Peoples will gladly accept your Peoples diamond bridal set, solitaire ring, solitaire earrings or solitaire pendant with a valid Peoples sales receipt toward your next diamond jewellery purchase, provided the net purchase price of the new item is at least twice the price you paid for your original diamond purchase. We guarantee that the item you trade in will be valued for trade-in by Peoples at 100% of its original net purchase price.
Guest Return and Exchange Policy Peoples Jewellers is dedicated to delighting you with your jewellery purchase and our services. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return jewellery within 100 days and watches within 30 days (of the date your order was shipped from our distribution centre or purchased from a store) for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping, handling, or other additional charges.
Items Covered and Warranty Conditions Peoples Lifetime Diamond Commitment limited warranty applies to all diamond rings, diamond earrings, diamond bracelets and diamond necklaces. This Lifetime Diamond Commitment does not cover clearance diamond jewellery, nor does it cover theft, mysterious disappearance, loss or damage other than that incurred in normal wear, and only diamonds in their original settings that have been inspected and repaired by Peoples are covered by this limited warranty. Proof of purchase is required on items being returned or exchanged and on trade-ins. Net purchase price refers to final price actually paid, excluding tax. This limited warranty does not cover coloured gemstone jewellery or watches. Repair charges necessary to properly secure a diamond in its mounting can be covered under Peoples' Lifetime Jewellery Protection Plan.

Cleaning A regular cleaning and inspection is one of the best things you can do for your jewellery. Not only does it keep your jewellery looking great, it gives your jeweler a chance to look for problems like bent clasps and loose prongs before the jewellery breaks. All of our stores have the ability to clean your jewellery, and some may have jewellers on staff ready to give it a closer examination.
Mounting If you have a loose diamond you would like set, bring it in to your local Peoples store. We'll help you choose a mounting that fits your stone and your tastes, and we'll professionally mount the diamond for you.
Sizing It's important that your ring fit comfortably. We encourage you to use our ring size chart before placing your order. Ring sizing policies in our stores can vary - ask your sales associate for details. Peoples will resize your rings quickly, professionally and affordably. Keep in mind, certain rings, especially those with channel-set stones, may be more difficult to size, or may not be sizable at all. Please read each product description carefully for exceptions.
