Many Canadian diamonds were formed in the earth deep beneath the artic ice millions of years ago, waiting to be discovered. Today, modern excavation techniques have allowed us to release these special and high quality gems from their hiding places below the frozen land and lakes of northern Canada.
Taken from the earth, each of our Authentic Canadian Diamonds is handled by expert artisans and taken through a series of sophisticated processes to ensure that each individual gem's qualities will be realized.
Hand-selected by our diamond experts, your Authentic Canadian Diamond is cut to exacting proportions and proudly laser-inscribed with its own unique number. The number identifies the Candian mine where your diamond was discovered and the beginning of its journey to you.
We are a member of the Canadian Jewellers Association and we are signatories to the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Authenticating Canadian Diamond Claims. This allows us to ensure the authenticity of the Canadian diamonds we use. These diamonds can be traced from the Canadian mine, providing our customers with a method to authenticate the diamonds purchased from Peoples Jewellers.
