THE LJPP DOES NOT COVER ANY COSTS, EXPENSES OR DAMAGES NOT SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NO MATTER WHAT THE CAUSE, INCLUDING DELAY IN RENDERING SERVICE UNDER THIS PLAN, OR LOSS OF USE DURING THE PERIOD THAT THE MERCHANDISE IS BEING REPAIRED OR OTHERWISE AWAITING PARTS.
•Only one item is covered per LJPP.
•The LJPP is only valid if the purchase information is printed on this Plan. The purchase information and receipt are part of this agreement.
•Guest must retain this Plan as proof of purchase.
•If the eligible repairs cannot be completed for any reason, we reserve the option to replace the merchandise. In the case of replacement the guest will receive similar merchandise or a store credit equivalent to the Purchase Price of the covered merchandise, at our discretion. This LJPP coverage will not extend to the replacement merchandise; however, the guest will have the option to purchase a new LJPP on the replacement merchandise. There is no deductible for repairs that do not exceed our liability. Once our liability is satisfied, you are responsible for any additional repair expense.
•Our total liability under this Plan is the Purchase Price paid for the merchandise as printed on this Plan. All obligations owed under this LJPP shall be satisfied when the total value of all authorized services or replacement that we provide under this Plan exceeds the Purchase Price of the merchandise.
•The term of this LJPP shall start on the date that the Plan is purchased, as printed on the Plan, and will continue for the lifetime of the original purchaser or of the receiver of the merchandise if it is a gift, subject to the total liability limit under this Plan as set out in the previous paragraph.
•LOSS FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING BY THEFT OR MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE, IS NOT COVERED.
•The LJPP can be returned for a full refund within sixty (60) days of purchase if you have not had a claim under this agreement. A 10% penalty per month shall be added to any refund not paid within forty-five (45) days of return of the service contract to the provider. This Plan provides benefits in addition to warranty coverage. If any warranty provides the same coverage as this Plan, we will provide a full refund.
•We may not cancel this Plan except by reason of non-payment, fraud or material misrepresentation by you. A notice of cancellation will be sent to you at least thirty (30) days before cancellation and will specify the reason and effective date of cancellation. If we cancel this Plan, you will receive a prorated refund of the purchase price of this Plan (assuming a 5-year duration of this Plan, solely for cancellation purposes) minus the value of any services received under this Plan.
ONLY THE PRODUCT IDENTIFIED IN THIS PLAN IS SUBJECT TO THIS LJPP.
Obligations of the provider under the LJPP are backed only by ZALE CANADA CO’s full faith and credit and are not guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy.
