Protection Plans
Since Peoples Jewellers is The Diamond Store, our commitment to our Guests is second to none. Peoples Jewellers wants to ensure that you'll enjoy the full beauty and brilliance of your diamond for a lifetime. Ask our in-store associates about our protection plans to find out if they make sense to add on to your purchase. Our in-store associations can also answer your questions about utilizing your warranties for repairs, cleaning and more.
1. Lifetime Diamond Commitment:
A complementary plan that comes with a diamond purchase of $200 or more. The plan covers:
Diamond breakage
If your diamond becomes chipped or broken or is lost from its original setting during normal use, return the jewellery to any Peoples store. We will replace the diamond** with one of similar value and quality at no charge to you. In the event that the diamond cannot be replaced because of the uniqueness of the stone, setting or the damage that has been incurred to the mount or prongs, the sole remedy may be for us to replace the entire item with similar merchandise at no charge to you.
** Lab-grown diamonds will be replaced with lab-grown diamonds.

For Commitment to remain in effect, you must have your diamond inspected and have the inspection documented every 6 months by an authorized representative. You may have your Peoples Jewellers diamond cleaned and inspected as many times as you want, free of charge, for as long as you own it. To maintain your Lifetime Diamond Commitment limited warranty, you need to bring your diamond to Peoples Jewellers every six months for cleaning and inspection, along with your inspection record. For example, if you buy your diamond in January, bring it in every July and January. If you bought it in February, bring it in every August and February, etc. When you bring your diamond to Peoples Jewellers for your semiannual inspections, a Peoples jewellery consultant will document the inspection and provide you with an inspection receipt.Lifetime guaranteed diamond trade-in value
Peoples Jewellers Lifetime Diamond Commitment limited warranty applies to all diamond purchases of $200 or more including, diamond rings, diamond earrings, diamond bracelets and diamond necklaces. This Lifetime Diamond Commitment does not cover previously owned diamond jewellery, nor does it cover theft, mysterious disappearance, loss or damage other than that incurred in normal wear, and only diamonds in their original settings that have been inspected and repaired by Peoples Jewellers are covered by this limited warranty. Proof of purchase is required on items being returned or exchanged and on trade‐ins. Net purchase price refers to final price actually paid, excluding tax. This limited warranty does not cover coloured gemstone jewellery or watches. Repair charges necessary to properly secure a diamond in its mounting can be covered under Peoples Jewellers' optional Lifetime Protection Plan. Services FAQs
Not exactly, but we have other options that might suit your needs. Our diamond trade-in program gives you the option to trade in a diamond ring towards the purchase of a new piece of diamond jewellery. The program applies to all diamond jewellery purchased at Peoples Jewellers and the new piece you pick out must be at least double the price of your original piece. Our custom design service may also be an option if you want to give an old ring new life.
A: Yes, you can. If we accept your jewellery for repair, we’ll give you a Repair Number. You can check on the progress of the repair by entering your Repair Number and your phone number.
It’s normal for jewellery to require repairs, especially if you wear it often. From worn or tarnished metals to loose prongs and gemstones to broken chains and clasps, most things can be fixed. Simply bring your jewellery into a Peoples Jewellers store so we can inspect the damage and give you an estimate for repairs.
