Peridot

Peridot has a long and storied history. The Egyptians called the peridot the "gem of the sun," and some believed it protected its wearer from the terrors of the night. The ancient Romans believed peridot offered protection from depression and deception and during the Middle Ages it was said to bring the wearer inspiration and eloquence in speaking. Even today, peridot is also believed to ensure good thoughts in the mind of the wearer.

Avoid steam or ultrasonic cleaners, and keep your peridot sparkling by cleaning it under warm running water with a mild soap. Dry with a soft, lint‐free cloth.
